Thank you, 2019. Hello, 2020.

As 2019 comes to a close, we'd like to share this commemorative postage stamp. It celebrates the 'Kanjivaram silk' and was released by India Post in the year 2009. This is very special to us since it’s the same year that Sarangi opened its doors as an exclusive Kanjivaram destination; Sarangi - the Kanjivaram sari store, had launched in September that year.

Over the years, Sarangi has evolved as a brand while keeping its core beliefs intact. Those core beliefs are authenticity in what we offer and a focus on what the buyer - you - is looking for. We realised early on that there was a need for a store which provides handmade products plus great selection.

As we celebrate our first ten years, we can see that there are changes afoot. We’re expanding our product line with more categories. Having born as Kanjivaram-only brand, we are adding weaves from other geographies as we grow. You can expect to see an increase in cotton products, including khadi.

As we say goodbye to 2019, we are forever grateful to you - our customer - who have helped make this journey a beautiful one. May all that you wish for be yours in the new year; wishing you and your dear ones a beautiful 2020 and beyond.
